Share Your Availability Across Every Calendar
"Are you free Thursday?" is a hard question to answer honestly when the true answer lives in three calendars and the person asking can see none of them. You could check all three and reply by email, every time, or you could give them one link that already has.
One link, every calendar in the group
On a calendar group, Share availability creates a private, unguessable link: not indexed, not listed anywhere, open only to someone who has the exact URL. It shows when you are busy across every calendar in that group, for the next two weeks, inside the working hours and days you choose.
What a visitor sees, and what they don't
By default the link shows busy and free blocks only, with nothing to say what any of the busy time actually is. You can switch it to also show event titles if that is useful for the people you are sharing it with. Either way, that is the ceiling: location, attendees, notes and meeting links never appear on this page, however the connections inside the group are themselves set to share.
Set it up
- Open the calendar group you want covered.
- Click Share availability.
- Set your working hours and days, and choose whether the link shows busy only or also event titles.
- Optionally set an expiry for the link.
- Copy the link or use your device's share sheet. Anyone who opens it sees your availability with no account and no sign-in of their own.
Rotate or revoke it, whenever you want to
A link can be withdrawn two ways. Rotate it to replace it with a fresh one; the old link stops working immediately, and you share the new one in its place. Revoke it to withdraw access altogether, with no replacement. Either is available any time, not just at the expiry you set.
Still free
Sharing your availability across a calendar group is part of the free tier, the same as the rest of Calendar Family.
The result
The next "are you free" gets answered with one link, checked against every calendar you actually keep, not just the one the asker happens to already see.
